It works each fee in whole cents, the way it is charged, and grosses a price up by dividing, never multiplying: to keep $40.00 at an illustrative 2.9% + $0.30 you charge $41.51, where adding the rate on top charges $41.46 and keeps $39.96, 4 cents short on every sale. It adds the fee a refund leaves behind, the true cost of a chargeback, the border and the payout into one monthly waterfall and one all-in rate (4.08% against a 2.9% headline in the worked example), finds the sale size at which two quotes cross ($47.50 in the example), and works a subscription net of fees with churn compounded and no growth promised. Every rate in it is an illustrative assumption with its source and date: fee schedules change and differ by plan, country and card type, so the kit sends you to your own contract for every line. It recommends no processor and is not tax or legal advice.
